Aria currently has an opening for an intermediate software developer that specializes in Web 2.0 development. The position requires an individual that is passionate about software development and delivering quality software. This position reports directly to VP of Software Development.

Qualifications:

• strong development and software design skills
• ability to work both alone and on project teams
• work in an environment that supports honest and open communication
• interface with customers for the development of new features
• ability to support all phases of our software development life cycle, including QA, documentation and support.
• contribute to the success of the development team and the individuals on that team.
• desire to learn and continually improve software development skills

Technical Requirements:

• follow object orientated design and coding practices
• in depth knowledge of modern JavaScript techniques (closures, functional-style programming, etc), including libraries such as jQuery or Prototype
• strong user-interface design skills - C# development experience
• In depth knowledge of IIS and Windows Server is an asset
  

General Responsibilities:

• take responsibility for all code that is written, code reviews are required
• work with and continue to improve our existing agile and test driven development practices.
• take part in on call support rotation for our tier 3 software support
• work with other senior developers to architect our software solutions
• program complex software modules
• take part in hiring process to grow our software team
• accurate estimates for all software development - sales and software support as needed
• promote innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
